A staged reading of the one-act play “The Successful Life of 3” and song selections from the musical “Promenade,” both by Cuban-American playwright Maria Irene Fornes. A reception will follow. Fornes is a highly revered but surprisingly rarely-produced playwright. Theater Emory is also producing the Fornes play, MUD in the Mary Gray Munroe Theater.
