A Collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center and the Morehouse College Glee Club. When memory fades, time gets lost. The familiar becomes strange. The once comfortable sometimes alarms. This disease steals. It steals stories and years and love and life. An all too common experience often leaving both patients and caretakers feeling desperate and lonely. We struggle to find words to express our emotions. We struggle to find hope as cures are sought. We look for moments beyond physical restoration, where music touches spirit… Music can bring hope. Music can spark hidden light in what was once thought lost. Music can remind. Music can comfort.

In this unique partnership with the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, Atlanta Master Chorale is joined on the stage by the Morehouse College Glee Club to offer those in our communities touched directly and indirectly by Alzheimer’s, a brief space of solace, reflection, and peace. As so many continue to fight towards a cure, it is important for us to come together and share what often feels like an impossibly lonely journey. As an organization dedicated to bringing life to shared stories and experiences, we are committed to using our music to begin conversations that will lead to a stronger community.
